APRIL K. TRAFTON
President

April Trafton has been active in the design and construction community industry since 1970. She is principal-in-charge of engineering production and works closely with the Executive Vice President and Project Engineers during project development from the early design stages through the completion of working drawings.

Ms. Trafton attended California State University of Northridge and has taken studies at the University of California at Los Angeles. She is a past president of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and sits on the ASPE National Legislative Committee, she is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, American Society of Heating Refrigerating Air Conditioning (ASHRAE) and American Water Works Association (AWWA). Ms. Trafton has been appointed by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials as a member of the code change committee from 1993 through present and is a voting member on the Uniform Mechanical Code Committee appointed by ASPE and is a member of the City of Los Angeles Plumbing & Fire Protection Advisory Board.

Ms. Trafton's executive responsibilities include system design evaluation and control of production and scheduling of mechanical, plumbing and electrical engineering projects. As principal in charge of production, her project involvement includes studies, calculations, design, specifications, reports and cost estimates delivered on time and within budget.

Her ability to coordinate the efforts of a full engineering staff throughout project design and plan check phases is due to her commitment to our clients and more than 30 years of service to the firm, industry and profession.
