Phil Trafton has been active in the construction and engineering industry since 1972. He is Executive Vice President in charge of project management, design criteria and contract execution. He works closely with the President and Project Management staff during project set-up and throughout design development and construction document phases.

Mr. Trafton attended New Mexico State University and has taken additional studies at the University of California at Los Angeles. He is past president of the Southern California Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, currently serving as a voting member of several technical committees at the Society level and as liaison to Standard 62 indoor air quality. He is also a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. He has lectured on mechanical systems to the Health Care Administration Program of California State University at Long Beach, the Southern California American Institute of Architects Associates Program and has been a guest speaker on solar systems to the AIA at the Chapter level. He has also lectured on Hospitality Facilities, Management and Design at the University of California, Los Angeles, Board of Director for the Design Professional Coalition and member of the City of Los Angeles Smoke Evacuation Task Force.

Mr. Trafton's executive responsibilities include system design concept, project management and quality control of Engineering projects, including studies, calculations, design, specifications, reports and cost estimates delivered on time and within budget.

In the final analysis, the project is the thing. Mr. Trafton's involvement and attention to detail at the project level works to assure project success and client satisfaction.
